Enable crypto payments in Lightspeed Retail

Flowgate lets you accept crypto without leaving the Lightspeed Retail Sell Screen.

This integration works with Lightspeed Retail X-Series.

It does not support Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series).

Connect Lightspeed Retail to Flowgate

  1. In the Flowgate Dashboard, select Add POS.

  2. Choose In-store, then Lightspeed Retail.

  3. Add your POS details, then select Create POS.

  4. On the Lightspeed till card, select Connect.

  5. If Lightspeed asks for your Store URL, enter it and continue. Sign in, review the access request, and approve the Flowgate connection.

  6. Back in Flowgate dashboard, copy the Gateway URL.

  7. Again to your Lightspeed Retail, go to Setup, then Payment types.

  8. Select Add payment type.

  9. Choose Other payment method, then select Begin setup.

  10. Name the new payment type Crypto and choose the outlets where it should be available.

  11. Paste the Gateway URL from Flowgate into the Gateway field, then save the payment type.

  12. Return to Flowgate dashboard and select Check setup.

When the store is connected and Crypto is configured, the POS status changes to Active.

That’s it — Crypto is now available from the Lightspeed Retail Pay screen.
